i figured since it was burning calories and getting my heartrate up it would help, but my sister says it will only make me look bigger because it will build muscles under fat (especially with high resistance)

i am 5′5 140 lbs. i have been running every day for a week for 20 to 30 mins. (after i do some arm exercizes and crunches) my resistance is set to 5. and i put it on the weight loss setting.
oh and sometimes i hold 2lb weights while running. idk if that helps

also, if you have any good weight loss tips please leave them in your comment :) i know eating right is important, but im looking for details like snack meals or even new work outs. THANK YOU
