jogging is an excellent exercise because it let you lose weight
evenly throughout your whole body. If you want to lose weight in
specific areas, you should target them with exercises. If they are
your problem areas, they will be very difficult to tone. You will have
to work double on them. The best approach is this:
1. Lower/control your daily calorie intake (control for normal
weight, lower for overweight).
2. Run/jog to lower your overall body fat percentage.
3. Target your problem areas with exercises.
an excellent exercise, you can do it in front of your TV: sit on a
stool, and put your toes under something (piece of heavy furniture,
for example). In your hands hold a little dumbbell. Please, make sure
that it is not very heavy, start with one kilo, for example, or you
will damage your back and spine! Slowly move the upper part of your
body back, until it’s parallel with the ground. Stop for a second and
move it back to the sitting position. Repeat ten times. Every week add
to the number of repetitions. You will see the results in a week,
guaranteed! You will see or feel under the fat - if you have any - six
pack and muscles. Dumbbells do wonders. Much better than these
crunches - I came up to three hundreds and there was no results AT
ALL. With the dumbbells you will see it in a week.
this is almost the same thing as a sit up but i think it works better. it is called the v-sit. What you do is lay down on your back, stretch your legs out, then do at sit-up but bring your legs up to your chest at the same time, dont keep your legs strait though you have to bend your legs into your chest at the same time you do a sit-up
you probbly know what 6 inches are? well, sit on your butt and lift your legs about a foot, then bend your upper body back a lil bit so it looks like a wide V. take your hands and twist from one side to the other as fast as you can for about 50 or so reps. it works upper abs, lower abs, and obliques, plus it gets your heart rate up.
also leg raises. regular sit ups dont work that great so try doing some elevated sit ups for better results.
When most people try to lose fat fast with cardio, they tend to try and go for long periods of time on a treadmill, stationary bike, elliptical, rowing machine, or stairstepper.
Did you know that there is a faster way to lose fat fast with cardio that has nothing to do with long, boring, and time consuming exercise sessions?
Before I tell you what it is, you should understand why these long routines may actually end up doing your fat loss efforts more harm than good.
First, if you do the same cardio routine over and over again without ever changing it, your body will eventually adapt. Sometimes in as few as only a few weeks. This is not optimal because pretty soon you have to go long and harder in order to get the same workout you did when you started! Who wants to try to lose fat fast by always having to increase their workout time?
Second, the same speed cardio routines do nothing to increase your metabolism. Metabolism is how your body burns calories. The faster your metabolism, the more calories you burn. If you want to lose fat fast, then having a fast metabolism is key.

My advice for young teenagers is to stick with the basic fundamental exercisies. For Example, push ups and pull ups are great for improving your upper body strength and creating that nice muscular V shape body. I know this seems basic, but try 4 sets of pull ups with 12 reps during each set and see how tough it can be. Next, try some old fashion push ups. If push ups are to boring for you try them on different angles and inclines. You will be suprized how hard a simple push up can be once you add some intensity..
