Need to lose weight ASAP because I want to live.?
I am 5′2 and weight 205. I use to be a cheerleader, ballet dancer and did gymnastics and a whole bunch of other fit things. So my body use to know what fit looks like and can retain muscle mass. Example I tried taboe tape and I did not lose weight but instead gain more muscle mass and looked real bulky. My weight gain came on after I became sick and all the meds the doctor gave me I got the worse side effect which was weight gain. I am better but now I have all this weight to deal with and its how to get off. It’s even harder mentally because I use to wear a size 6 and now I am 16 and nothing fits right any more and I hate shopping. I would like to lose 70lbs. I read several posts on weight watchers, jenny Craig, try a cleanser, use ephedrap57 or Isagenix, drink this magic tea. What really works? I need a plan for a person on the go because my schedule does not allow me to do much workout plus I am heavy so working out is difficulty. Someone who lose weight can you please give me any suggestions because I am desperate? If my weight continues my doctor say I may develop diabetes or other health problems. And I don’t want to take any more meds to make me fatter. Any help is appreciate. Thanks

my moms aunt drank and NOTHING besides slim fast. she never drank anything other than that and she never ate anything other then slim fast products. and she lost a lot of weight. she even talked to her doctor about it and he said it was completely safe because slim fast has all the nutreints and stuff your body needs in it. but after she lost the weight she began a healthy food diet and did an at home 30 minute a day excersise program. and she is now eat food other then slim fast and still has kept her weight off.
I heard about this simple diet sort of plan. It’s where you eat things that are mainly composed of water, like potatoes. That way, even though you might even eat more, you still lose more weight. It’s somewhere in this week’s Newsweek.
i heard of this diet where you talk to your doctor and tell him you want to go on an 800 calorie diet, im pretty sure they will start you on a program where they send you food and you will rapidly lose weight. Or you can do it yourself. Just eat about 800 caloires a day and not a lot of fat. You will lose weight pretty fast. i only eat 800 calories a day so i know it works!!
I went through something similar about 3 years ago, gaining weight after a health problem. No fad diet works in the long term, it will just bring you back to where you started. The best way to start losing weight is to exercise–daily walking would be a really good way to start. That’s what I did when I had to lose 60 pounds, and after the first 30 I was fit enough to add in weights and pilates a few times a week. And instead of cutting things out of your diet, just try adding a lot of fresh fruits and veggies. Then your eating will become healthier over time without the overeating that strict diets cause. Trust me, don’t starve yourself or do weird diets, it doesn’t help at all and makes you unhappy. Good luck!
Five years ago I lost 100 pounds. I’m disabled and not able to exercise. How I did it was eating protein, vegetables and fruits. I did not have any carbohydrates. I did not have any junk food or fried food.
I have learned to eat small portions several times a day so I don’t get hungry and over eat. I have not put the weight back on because I don’t want to ever have to go through the miserable feeling of being fat and people thinking I’m lazy.

Don’t know how many times you’ve heard this, but eat healthier and start exercising! There is no secret, if you want to lose weight then you do the work. And if your not losing weight and your not working, then stop complaining. Search within yourself and see how much you want to attain the goal.
Isagenix really works for me, and has for several friends of a variety of sizes and shapes. My cleansing coach is a former athlete that kept getting larger with age and couldn’t find the right fix - even with a great deal of exercise. This stuff did the trick for her.

Please stop using those weight loss gimmicks by themselves! Those won’t help you unless you use them in conjunction with a good healthy weight loss plan!
Sorry- just eating less is not going to make you lose weight - its called eating healthy and it is a lifestyle. Just eating less will actually lower your metabolism and you can actually gain weight if you aren’t eating right! Workouts will help wonders btw…
I am not that great at keeping up to date with my progress so I use a online service (from menshealth). It helps me chart my progress and keeps me up to date on how much I should lift each time and what exercises to do. They have a diet plan too, though I haven’t used it. It lets you schedule workouts around your schedule, and your diet around what you like to eat.

I lost weight and became much healthier following the Weight Watcher diet. You have a support group as you weight in weekly and the meetings provide support and encouragement. I averaged 2 pounds per week.
If you are really serious, go see a real specialist…if you dont have the money put money in a savings until you do. Meanwhile just walk a lot, eat 3 meals a day…stop when you get the Im full feeling..even if your plate is not done…walk a lot…drink fruit juices and water, eat salads in between if you get hungry..low fat dressing..or just lemon, little salt and olive oil.
1. Eat PROTEIN in the mornings. Try to aviod eating high-in-carb meals early in the day because all this does is take you on an “energy rollercoaster” where you become very lively and then suddenly become very tired and its keep you eating more. Protein rich foods such as eggs, almonds, or Stallone’s High Protein pudding (a canned chocolate, vanilla, or banana flavored pudding where there are only 100 calories, and 20 grams protein).
2. Drink a cold glass of water before meals. Drinking a glass of cold water before you eat shrinks your stomach so u have less of an appetite.
3. Always eat breakfast. if you dont, you will be craving foods (especially high in sugar) to get more energy. most overweight people dont eat in th morning because they arnt particularly hungry at this time of day when they are trying to lose weight, but it doesnt help to skip it.
4. weight lifting! the old myth: cardio, cardio, cardio. weight lifting wont give you huge muscles unless you work out like arnold schwarsenegger (i cant spell, lol). actually, weight lifting will get rid of fat, tone your figure, and burn calories even after you’ve stopped working out. this is key.
5. lots of sleep. a survey recently taken showed that women who did not get enough sleep were more more likely to be overweight due to lack of energy the next day.

I am sorry that this has happened to you. I know just how you feel. In 2003 without even asking me about my diet habits etc the doc put me on insulin shots for my diabetes. It put on an additional 85 lbs. When I found out I could’ve just screamed because I was on my way to a weight loss goal. I was 240 lbs down from 285 lbs.(I’m 5′11 1/2″) I asked the nurse, how do I get off of this stuff and she started telling me, OH you better wait and ask the doc. That’s when I stopped seeing doctors.
The only thing I see a physician for now is my thyroid numbers. My sister and I started seeing a Certified Nutrition Therapist.
Your body is out of balance because of the drugs the doctor gave you. The first thing I would have you do while you look for a CNT is get off all sugar and processed foods. Look for a health food store in your area and ask at the customer service desk for there book section. There is a world of reading for you to do…Let me give you an example.Let’s look at oreo cookies, yeah they’re yummy but are you aware that the food company makes them to be ADDICTIVE? Oh, yeah my sister will graduate her CNT program in May and some of my information is from the books she’s been reading since nov 06. We have been seeing a CNT (her instructor) since nov 06 too. I have lost 20-25 lbs just since Jan 07. We are taking a protocol of BIOTICS to restore our body functions back to balance. I have even gotten off an additional diabetic drug too. I actually got off the insulin on my own, (I am so proud of that) by making changes in my diet. I don’t eat anything out of a box. I eat fresh food and I limit red meat.
I started walking and I’ve got more energy than I have had since I had breast cancer in 1990. Talk about side effects. Chemo put a hundred pounds on me.
All in all I’m still here, babe…No matter what you weigh please tell me you still love yourself. The steps you take are the steps you take to become healthier. The side effect of that is that you will look nicer to the viewing eye. Don’t beat yourself up for anything. Whatever the doc gave you helped you. And yes he leaves it up to you to solve the side effects of the drugs he gave. Just let it spur you to greater success.

Walking is the best exercise as this point. Work up to walking longer and harder. My mom is in the same spot. She has been overweight for 24 years (considered obese) with a family history of diabetes. She has started Weight Watchers and walking 2-4 times a week and has seen great results so far. The key is to have a support system and also have a work out/walking buddy. Good luck!
You might try staying under 15 grams of fat and under 1,500 calories. A gf of mine did this with me and it is easy to lose alot fast. But it is also easy to gain back so you have to be really careful after you lose the weight to not put it back on.
